4 of us (plus dogs) called in on Easter Sunday - completely unplanned and grabbed a table in the courtyard. We only intended having a drink and a snack but caught sight of the dinner that other guests were having, so convinced ourselves we should go for it. It was a little after peak lunch period, and I think we got the last of the roasts.
Service was really good - everyone really friendly. But the meal was really good. Two of us had the beef, and two had turkey. Both meats were cooked beautifully and very generous helping. The veg similarly really good. And piping hot.
Sadly, after stuffing ourselves, no room for a dessert. So next time, we'll go for the smaller portion and have a cake!
The rest of the menu looked tempting too. So very much looking forward to a return visit soon.
