“Excellent accommodation, great location and great value.”
Reviewed 30 October 2017 for a stay in October 2017

My wife and I had a very enjoyable stay at Fir Tree cottage. It is in an excellent location, ideally based in Criccieth and also for exploring the local area which is beautiful. The cottage itself is small but very well laid out, very well equipped/furnished and extremely comfortable for 2. During our stay we also saw Holly Cottage which is also very well presented but is slightly larger than Fir Tree.To be honest you couldn't go wrong with either of the cottages. Ann and Richard were very friendly hosts who went out of their way to make our stay a very pleasant one. We would definitely choose to stay there again if visiting the area. Thank you.

Thank you both so much for this kind review we really appreciate the words and glad that you liked Holly as much as Fir Tree cottage. Great to have our conversations and hear where you had been walking and running each day.!!! Rich enjoyed discussing golf and maybe you could have a game if you come to Criccieth again, you have our number. Thanks again for staying regards Richard and Ann

“Small but perfectly formed”
Reviewed 21 September 2017 for a stay in September 2017

Stayed here a couple of weeks ago with my large GSD, the cottage was small but with more than enough room for both of us with all amenities needed including cooker, fridge, washer, hoover. Owners were very friendly and helpful, the beach which is just across the road is amazing, I had such a great time and will definitely come back again next year, thank you Ann for allowing me to bring Xena, she had a ball.

“Excellent!”
Reviewed 5 August 2017 for a stay in July 2017

My hubby, myself and our pooch Maisie have just returned home from staying in Fir Tree Cottage and we loved every minute of it-it really is "Comfy and Cosy". It may be small but it had everything you could want, including a washer, fridge, with a small freezer section, constant hot water, and even a small book shelf, to name just a few things provided-oh and the gardens are beautiful if you want to sit out. Ann and Rich who own the property are so lovely and will help with anything you might need to know about the property itself or the surrounding areas (loved your banter Ann!). Unfortunately, apart from the last glorious sunny day, the weather wasn't kind but we still managed to get out and about and see a lot of the areas around Criccieth. It is really central for visiting Barmouth, Harlech, Caernarfon, Pwhelli and Portmadog, where you can get the Ffestiniog Railway (and take dogs on). Ann and Rich are probably going to sell and I just hope that whoever takes over running this beautiful house and cottages, do it as well as they do! For our first time in Wales, we couldn't have picked a better spot-thank you!
