“Top Notch!”
Reviewed 12 April 2017 for a stay in July 2015

It has been a while since we stayed in Tirwyddan (a name, which even Welsh speaking friends couldn't translate ;-)), but we still think back with favour to our stay and even after that long time I feel compelled to write a review - that's how much we liked it there.
It was very quiet which made us sleep like logs. The views over the bay and over to the castle were stunning.
The house was veeery well kept and very comfortable and cozy with the heating on even in July - of which we had to make use of every now and then.
The bedrooms were spacy, the bathrooms very clean, enough space for three cars and the house was close enough to the town centre so after long days of exploring Wales we could walk (downhill) to the pubs and (uphill) back home.

Thank you very much for your kind review. It was great to have you to stay and we are delighted that you enjoyed your stay so much. We hope to welcome you back again sometime - since you have stayed the house has been redecorated and part-refurnished so it is even more cosy than when you stayed!

Best wishes

We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves here, the property is spacious and very well presented. The bathrooms are wonderful and the bedrooms are very comfortable. Would highly recommend this property and would definitely stay again. Would also like to say that the owner Jon is extremely pleasant to deal with, very accommodating!

“Wonderful family house in stunning location”
Reviewed 21 September 2015 for a stay in September 2015

This is our second visit to Tirwyddan and we loved it! The house is spacious and in a lovely setting, with fabulous views of the sea and castle. Its very well equipped and spotlessly clean. There is loads to do in the local area, including amazing beaches such as Blackrock sands and Abersoch. Would really recommend a stay here.

“Holiday Haven”
Reviewed 21 April 2015 for a stay in April 2015

We have just come back from a lovely week based @ Tirwyrran in Criccieth.
The house itself was clean & well maintained & located with lovely views over the town towards the sea & the castle. Our group was 4 adults & two children (5 & 18 months).
The house was great for us with plenty of room & all the facilities of home
& a decent wi fi connection. Special mention must go to the Kitchen/Dining area which was beautiful & practical @ the same time & which also benefited from a covered patio area accessed via a sliding patio door. The bathrooms were all fitted to a high standard & were a pleasure to use!!
Ample parking for 2 cars, could probably squeeze 3 on fairly easily.
The walk to town is downhill & easy but the return is more demanding & may pose a problem for some less able visitors. That said parking in Criccieth was not a problem during mid April.
