“Our second home!”
Reviewed 20 August 2016 for a stay in August 2016

We have made many visits to Wern Fawr Manor Farm, and have stayed in almost all the cottages as well as the B&B over the last 13 years. We have holidayed with family members, and friends, as well as just ourselves. We love coming here, not just because of the scenery or the fab weather, but also because of the lovely welcome from Alan and Helen, who make us feel as if we are part of their extended family. All the cottages are dog friendly and have every amenity you are used to at home. Our favourite cottage is Bragdy Wern, which can sleep up to 10 people, and is great for simply relaxing in, whether that is in the lounge, the conservatory, or the lovely big garden. On colder evenings there is a fabulous log burning stove to enjoy All the cottages have their own BBQs and outdoor furniture, while indoors there are DVD and CD players and TV. The free wifi also keeps you connected to the outside world, if you need to be! The walled garden at the back of the Manor House is beautifully looked after by Helen and her Mum Linda, and with horses, hens, ducks, rabbits and guinea fowl all on site, it makes for an entertaining stay. There is plenty of wildlife out there too, and it is thrilling to sit out on a warm evening listening to the owls hooting to each other, and watching the bats flitting about. There is even a hare who makes regular appearances in the field behind the Bragdy! There are woodland walks from the property, and a dog friendly beach at Llanbedrog which is a short drive, or a 20 minute walk across public footpaths. There are many places to eat out nearby, and plenty of pretty villages and beaches to explore. So all in all this has been, and will continue to be, the perfect holiday destination for us!

Reviewed 8 August 2016 for a stay in August 2016

The cottage is set in a wonderfull property minutes away from llanbedrog beach and is equipped to a high standard. A pool table and a table tennis one in the barn are available for the rainy days, which is super handy. Really friendly people aiways on hand to help with any request. Loved it.

“Another wonderful stay at Wern Fawr”
Reviewed 9 July 2016 for a stay in July 2016

This was our third visit to Wern Fawr and this time we stayed in the largest cottage, Bragdy Wern, for a family birthday celebration. The cottage is of a very high standard and all of the family had a wonderful holiday. Helen and Alan go out of their way to make everyone feel at home and the card and 'bubbly' for my birthday was a lovely surprise. Our two year old grandson particularly enjoyed the stay as he loved visiting and feeding the ducks, horses and hens. We also enjoyed our walks through the grounds and woods surrounding the cottage. This is a very safe environment for children to relax and enjoy themselves.

Some friends who came for the birthday BBQ stayed B & B in the main house and also thoroughly enjoyed their stay, especially the "amazing" breakfast.

This is a great place for a holiday in a beautiful, quiet location but very close to Llanbedrog beach and only a short drive into Abersoch and its beaches and shops.

Bradgy Wern is very spacious inside and has a lovely conservatory. The kitchen is fabulous and the bedrooms and bathrooms are also of a high standard. This is a great cottage for a large party.

Once again another brilliant holiday at Wern Fawr!

“Ideal accommodation in lovely surroundings, so relax!”
Reviewed 21 May 2016 for a stay in May 2016

We have stayed in Camellia Cottage many times and after (unusually) a two year gap, it has been delightful to return. The owners, Alan, Helen and their lovely family, go to great lengths to ensure that their guests enjoy their stay. The cottages are well equipped and super clean. Wern Fawr is a dog friendly establishment and ours certainly love it: down to the woods at least once daily! This time we saw a huge Brown Hare at close range. The cottages are ideally placed for exploring the Lleyn Peninsular and beyond, and we find somewhere or something new each time we visit. (We anticipate that this will carry on for many years as we become so chilled that we often stay at Wern Fawr as the location is so nice. To sum up, for a great break or full length holiday with or without dogs, you can do no better that here! Woods, beach, birds, books and scrabble, with perhaps a few bottles thrown in for good measure. (Will add photos asap)
