“Beautiful setting, beautiful barn”
Reviewed 8 October 2012 for a stay in October 2012

Although it took us a while to find, the barn was even more lovely than the photos. The fresh flowers and fruit were a nice touch, as was the greeting by Tess the dog! All the bedrooms were clean with lovely decor and spacious bathrooms... the jacuzzi bath was a particular treat after a day's walking. The surrounding area was perfect for walks and although we arrived on the Friday night in heavy rain, Saturday and Sunday were beautiful and sunny which made the views even more spectacular!
We didn't go to the local pub for food as we ate at the barn for every meal or made packed lunches but the local tea room was nice.
Thanks to Mic and Jacqui for making us feel welcome and for providing some charcoal for the BBQ on Saturday night!
All in all, very beautiful place to stay. Wish we'd had longer there.

“Perfect location, perfect accommodation, perfect hosts.”
Reviewed 2 August 2012 for a stay in July 2012

We had a great family holiday, 6 adults and two children, plenty of room and freedom to enjoy ourselves without restriction. The Barn is a faboulus restoration, beautifully appointed and just perfect for us. All facilities were well thought out , the accomadtion was perfectly prepared for us on arrival and we had a generous welcome by our hosts.
This is a location for isolation, no phones or internet to interupt our enjoyment, it is a hideaway place to lose yourselves in great countryside.

“Beautiful barn conversion in a stunning location”
Reviewed 17 June 2012 for a stay in June 2012

When our family first walked through the door the first word was 'wow!' which was then followed by further 'wows' as we were shown further around this beautiful barn conversion.
The views from the bedrooms of the surrounding country side are absolutley wonderful.
The barn easily housed the ten of us, plus the baby, and it was warm and comfortable even before we lit the log stove.
The hosts, Mic & Jacquie, always ensured that we had everything we needed during our stay and for going that extra mile (Thank you!).
We're certain that we will visit again and wouldn't hestiate to recommend this holiday let to anyone wanting to 'get away from it all'.

This was our third stay, that must speak volumes in itself, plus are revisiting in August...can't wait. It is always a warm welcome from Mick, Jackie and Tess the dog.
Beautifully cleaned to a high standard with little extras to give the finishing touches.
The surroundings are breathtaking whether you want a long hike or a leisurely stroll along the waters edge that flows through. Local amenities to make your stay comfortable with lovely pubs for your lunch break and takeaways to get your mouths watering.
What more can you want from a relaxing break!!
