This was a perfect first stop when reaching Beale Street! My daughters (8yrs & 1 yr) both enjoyed the special upfront action of watching the ducks!

We were in the area and it was raining, so we decided to duck into the Peabody to see the ducks retire for the evening. It was quite a production! They rolled out the red carpet and the lobby was packed. My teenagers thought it was kind of funny.

This was told to me by others who had already visited Memphis. It was a very cute routine but wish they could find a better way for everyone to see the show.

Took my son and there were so many people, couldn't see a thing. Was so looking forward to this part of our trip, and missed it. Could hear what they were saying, but couldn't see ANY of it! Advice: go early!

A must do in Memphis. What a beautiful hotel with a grand, adorable tradition. The 2 times for the duck march is at 11:00 and at 5:00 p.m.. My recommendation is to get there at least an hour prior to the March to solidfy a place at the bar or around the fountain. Have yourself a cocktail, Bloody Mary or a Mimosa. If you get there a bit too late, go up to the second floor. Hopefully, there will be enough space to view this memorable tradition.

If you stay there an have children, see if you can have your child choosen to be be the honorary Duck Master for the Day.
