Met for lunch on a Wednesday. They weren't too busy, but seemed well understaffed. Kitchen staff kept coming out to help the servers. Service was otherwise great until it came time to pay. It seemed to take long times to get our check, get them to pick up our check, and to get them to return the check to sign.
The food was average, at best. She ordered the Shrimp Scampi. The house-made noodles were really good, but the wine-flavor in the sauce drowned out everything else. The tails were left on the ends of the shrimp. I saw Chef Ramsey nearly yelling at a child for leaving inedible parts of ingredients in the dishes on Master Chef Junior. What's that about? I ordered the Lamb burger, which was overcooked (a lamb burger should never be well done). The patty was not much bigger than a fast-food single, but the bun was tall and dense. I really could taste mostly bun. It was also dressed with iceberg lettuce. The seasoned fries were the best part of the meal, but even they were cut in random sizes. Each dish was $15, which would be a fair value for a larger, properly prepared lamb burger and a ready-to-eat Shrimp Scampi not overpowered by wine.
