Fantastic tour around the Sun Studios. our guide told lots of stories that happened there. You can see the Original recording studio. Also a shop where you can buy lots of souvenirs.

Very good and the guide was great and enthusiastic. Like the fact it is hands on also. You need to have a ticket and time to go as is a very popular place.

Came to Memphis to take my son to visit the Gibson Guitar Factory and Sun Studios. The Sun Studio tour was absolutely awesome!! By the way, we had a really great tour guide - Graham. Graham was very well versed in Sun history and in Music. He explained all the exhibits in detail and described a picture of what it was like back in the day through a verbal musical timeline. He made the tour fun but also kept it at a very comfortable pace. At the end of the tour he answered everyone’s questions in detail. If you take the Sun tour I highly recommend taking it with Graham.
The studio itself was smaller than I expected but packed a punch once you realize the history and all that studio has seen. Very glad we visited. Would definitely go again. Entire staff was friendly. Thanks Sun!!!

A real treat to see the birthplace of rock and roll, with highly enthusiastic and knowledgeable guides. Loads of history and tales from it's beginning with Sam Philips and the up and coming stars he recorded. You can stand on the very spot Elvis stood and hold the mike he used too in those early days. Nice gift shop and bar. Best to book tickets in advance as it is busy and there is only one tour starting on the half hour through the day and you may not get in if you just turn up. Parking is limited round the back of the building or on the street.
