“Great property to enjoy relaxing week in a beautiful tranquil place”

We have just enjoyed a lovely week in the beautifully quiet village of Portpatrick. We have been here many times but this was the first stay in this cottage. The property has a fantastic kitchen diner which we used for meals, drinks and general entertainment. The living room is on the small side but was very cosy on the nights we gathered around TV for movies. The view from the extensive decking is fantastic - when the sun shone we were able to spend time in what is a beautifully kept garden/deck area. There is loads to do in Portpatrick- we had many a walk along the cliff top tracks and the Glen walks. There are plenty of interesting places to visit nearby. All of the bars/hotels in Portpatrick are extremely friendly and accommodating, offering fine meals, ales and wines.

We've been coming to Portpatrick every year for 21 years. Recently our favourite place to stay is No 1 Dinvin cottage,by far the best value and cleanliness is 100%.Next year will be our 5th time out off 22 years and hopefully many more to come .

“Beautiful cottage, beautiful location!”

This was our third stay in Portpatrick but our first in this cottage. The cottage sleeps 6 comfortably in 3 bedrooms and has 2 bathrooms. The large kitchen/dining room was perfect and the kitchen had all the right utensils and equipment to make it easy to self cater. The only minor niggle we had with the cottage was the lounge only seats 3 people and if there are 6 if you you would need to get chairs from the kitchen. However the cottage was spotlessly clean and the garden was spectacular with its enormous garden and decking area with views over portpatrick and the Irish Sea. If you get good weather which we did you can spend the evening in the garden.

Portpatrick itself is a lovely fishing village with a few good pubs to eat in (I recommend The Crown). My children spent many an hour paddling on the small beach and building sandcastles. Plus some lovely gift shops too.

We would definitely stay in this cottage again.

“Great Cottage close to all amenities in the village”

Overall a very clean and comfortable cottage in the centre of Port Patrick with great views from the raised deck area in the back garden. We had a very relaxing holiday at 1 Dinvin Street with the added bonus of sunshine all week!
Perfect location for exploring the surrounding coastline and countryside.
My only slight criticism would be the size of the living room and its lack of seating especially if six adults were staying.
