I read the reviews and we were not disappointed.
From the first email to us turning up, all was easy and friendly.
The property was ready for us, warm and a wonderful welcome pack for both us and our dogs.
The secure garden was perfect for our labradors and the cottage was suitable for them and us.
The cottage had all we could need and more. Every little thing was considered.
The walks from the cottage are lovely and we saw lots of interesting birds... Ospreys, Jays and a Heron! There is enough a neolithic cup and ring marked stone near the entrance to the access road off of the main road if you go hunting!!!
Ample parking and good directions.
We would highly recommend this property.
Thank you L & P, we enjoyed our honeymoon retreat and the extra goodies in the welcome pack that you left for us all x

We have just returned from a fantastic weeks stay at Beech Cottage. What a find! A lovely welcome pack and milk in the fridge for your first cuppa after a long journey is so thoughtful and much appreciated. The cottage is very well equipped and has everything you might need for self catering and has a real home from home feel. We certainly felt at home there. The cottage is surrounded by wildlife and we were glued to the French windows watching chaffinches, jays, rabbits and our favourite visitor a red squirrel! There were so many birds enjoying the peanuts and seeds we brought. We had some great walks from the cottage along the old railway track, both in to Killin and behind the cottage. The hosts had kindly provided lots of maps of the area. The location is perfect for some amazing days out by car with so many places just over an hours drive away. We got to the Falls of Bruar, Pitlochry, Aberfeldy, Glencoe, Fort William, Loch Awe, Seil for a brilliant wildlife boat trip and to Oban for the Calmac ferry to Isle of Mull. There is still so much we didn't get to do a week isn't enough! A big thank you to Lyndis and Paul for great communication from booking to a really welcoming and homely cottage on arrival. We can't recommend Beech Cottage highly enough and would love to return.
Beech cottage is in a fantastic location with stunning views.
Everything you need is in the cottage and it is exceptionally clean, and very comfortable.
The red squirrels and the large variety of wild birds in the garden were a bonus. I would not hesitate to recommend Beech cottage to anyone.
Thanks for a truly wonderful stay.
Thank you for such a super week. The cottage is airy, spotlessly clean, comfortable and so peaceful.
We were lucky with the weather so could make the most of the beautiful walks in the area.
Lovely welcome packs for us and the dogs
The garden is well fenced and so peaceful to sit out watching the wildlife.
Get some peanuts and it will come flocking. Wonderful to see the red squirrels so close.
I think our favourite walk was the Rails to Trails in Killin, along Loch Tay banks
A fabulous place to stay in a fantastic area.
Thank you very much
