Myself and husband along with our 3 year old son have just returned from a fabulous week at Blinkbonnie cottage. Dave and Sandie have made Blinkbonnie a home from home. Tea, coffee milk and some very welcome cookies for our son awaited us after a rather wet drive! Sandie was also at the cottage to greet us and shows us around. The cottage is beautifully situated and close to local amenities. We used the cottage as our base for exploring the highlands. We visited Oban and Mull, Stirling, climbed Ben Lawers, horse riding at Loch Tay, Dewars Distillery, Blair Drummond Safari, Stirling Castle! An action packed week! It was lovely to come home on an evening to the log burner. You can explore from the cottage door step, walking for miles exploring the Scottish countryside and amazing wildlife, we were there during the red deer rut. Killin is situated a couple of miles from the cottage where you will find a good out door shop, eateries and a co-op. We would recommend the old smiddy. We also really liked Kenmore near Loch Tay and also Aberfeldy. You can not go wrong by booking Blinkbonnie. Dave and Sandie are doing a great job and there local knowledge is brilliant we will be back, I am so pleased we found this cottage. You won't be disappointed!

“Perfect is an understatement.”
Reviewed 2 October 2013 for a stay in September 2013

Just back from 9 nights at this beautiful cottage. Do not know where to start. Excellent location, stunning surroundings, all the amenities you'll ever need and more. Dave and Sandie were really helpful and made sure that everything was up to standard and above. Thanks Dave for installing WIFI after I told you my needs. We have visited, seen and checked many other properties and I must say that you beat them all. The cottage is spotless clean, everything in order, all items look brand new. It is complete with vacuum cleaner, all kitchen appliances, satellite tv, dvd, huge backyard with bbq, lawn, shed, bicycles and a lake! Staying there was already bliss. Every town or city in Scotland is within a couple of hours reach by car the most. Local services and shops are close. Deer greet you in the morning along with dwarf rabbits, eagles and buzzards. This review is ending up sounding like an advert but believe me I have no connections whatsoever with the owners except of a fully satisfied customer who will recommended a stay at Blinkbonnie cottage hands down. Will definitely use again should we visit Scotland again. Thanks from the bottom of our heart.

“Lovely Cottage in a great location”
Reviewed 13 September 2013 for a stay in September 2013

Blinkbonnie Cottage is perfect for a short or long stay. Just spent 4 days there and it is lovely, spotless and well presented, everything you need to make a comfortable stay. Loads of lovely walks in the area and some stunning views, we done the Glenogle Trail and that is great walk, you need to be reasonably fit though. Dave and Sandie were very welcoming, hope to return :-)

“Peace, beauty and comfort, the perfect wind down.”
Reviewed 5 September 2013 for a stay in August 2013

My son and I stayed at Blinkbonnie last week. Dave and Sandra are very friendly and helpful. The cottage is in the most lovely location with wildlife literally on the doorstep. As a new venture, Blinkbonnie is very well equipped and comfortable with gorgeous views from front and back and wonderful beds. Centrally located for easy access to all areas, we did walks from the cottage, drove up Ben Lawers and walked the mountain, and did a tour of 5 other lochs and the west coast. Something for everyone.

“A well presented cottage in a lovely position with great views”
Reviewed 25 August 2013 for a stay in August 2013

A newly renovated cottage with all you need for a very comfortable stay in this lovely peaceful area of Scotland. Well kept little garden and a great spot for watching the passing wildlife from and enjoying a barbeque. Good walks from the cottage with plenty of more challenging hikes within the surrounding area. Two minutes drive from Killin, with some good restaurants, pubs, cafe and a helpful outdoor centre. Owners were very helpful and easily contactable when we needed advice. Would definitely stay again.
