“First time here but certainly not the last”

Stumbled across this little gem when looking for somewhere to see the New Year in. From the moment we booked until we left Michael & Nolwenn were informative and helpful. Once booked up they were in touch to start welcoming us and assisting us about places to eat/drink. Closer to the date of arrival we were given detailed directions to combat the route that baffles sat nav. On the day of arrival we were greeted with biscuits and a warmed up cabin. Michael gave us a great intro to the place. You get complete privacy but with the knowledge you can contact them for anything you may need. The place was immaculate, comfortable with everything we needed. From the bathroom with heated rails, to the comfy bed, dining area and warm sitting area out to the balcony (where I proposed & we got engaged) it was all we could ask for. The weather was not kind to us at all but we knew that booking for December but this did not hinder our stay in a great place. Enjoyed a meal in the local Italian and drinks with live music in the local pubs. 10/10 and can't wait to come back.

“Beautiful little lodge with everything you need under 1 roof”
Reviewed 30 May 2014 for a stay in May 2014

From the time I booked it until the time I left Fisherwood Cottage, the owners were so helpful.
Directions from Glasgow airport, meeting us and showing us round, little touches like milk in the fridge and nice biscuits and even posting me an item of jewellery I'd left behind.
The cottage is gorgeous. I loved the fairy lights, the fire and the balcony with candles and a table and chairs overlooking the wood and river.
There was a co-op 5 minutes down the road where we stocked up for breakfast.
We stayed here for 2 nights as we were in Scotland for a friend's wedding. The location was perfect.
Thank you for having us. We'd definately return.

“Beautiful place to stay”
Reviewed 14 May 2014 for a stay in May 2014

Highly recommended. Beautiful location right near the gorgeous Loch Lomond. Accommodation is perfect for a short or long stay, my sister and I stayed for 5 nights and loved it. Comfy bed, excellent heating, nice warm shower and the sound of birds just tops it all off :) Michael and Nolwenn are very friendly and have done an excellent job with the setup of the cabin.

“Cosy little place - exactly what we were looking for.”
Reviewed 17 February 2014 for a stay in February 2014

This place was exactly what me and my girlfriend were looking for: a small, quaint place with a good location. The view out from the balcony is great, showing the river with a few boats. Such a cosy little place which is a ten minute walk from Loch Lomond, and five minutes away from the shops and numerous pubs/restaurants. Although only literally 1 minute away from the train station, it could be quite tricky to find; but although we had clear instructions on which how to access the house, we were greeted at the train station by the house owners so they could show us the way. The owners were very lovely and helpful people, and helped us out with any queries we had. Would definitely recommend this place to a friend.

How easy was it to book the property? How helpful were the directions to the property?
