Great to return yet again to a warm welcome from Katie and her staff and to find it just as good as our previous visits. Katie continues to work her magic in the kitchen - perhaps the highlight of the meal was the pudding - poached pear with butterscotch sauce (yum yum) but that is not to underestimate the other courses - taken as a whole a wonderful and special dining experience. Katie's breakfast display is a work of art.

Very expensive, OK place but cost a lot of money and was no better than places half the price. Evening meal was disappointing and not worth the exorbitant price. No TV in room. Lounge/bar was cold looking with no rugs and the tiled dinning room was equally cold.

We booked this B and B mini hotel on the reviews and think it must be a case of the Kings New Clothes as...it was just ordinary.
Nothing special or amazing....just a bed and breakfast at £70 pppn.

The other two places we stayed were full hotels and both were cheaper.

It is expensive and just fine....no more

A surprise treat for my birthday. A brilliant restaurant, not cheap, but fantastic food and great staff. Other guests a little stuffy but innocuous. A special dining experience -no choice menu but whey would you want anything other than what the chef/manager chooses for you. She certainly knows what she's doing.

Room tip: Didn't stay here only dined in the restaurant

The establishment is run by Ms Katie Macaskill, who has won the Michelin Award for about the last 10 years on the trot . The accommodation is superb. Try and book The Barn , a standalone on the property. The rooms in the bnb are comfortable and spick and span. The food is out of this world. There is no point in attempting to describe it. Katie has joined heaven and earth on her table. There is good wifi provided. The views are spectacular and the staff a delight. A definite for the bucket list.
