We are not backpackers, and we like creature comforts.
The "pod" that we stayed in was TINY, with a very compact double bed, and a shower above the toilet in a bathroom that is the size of a small closet, with no shelf space. This meant that showering left the "bathroom" floor wet all day.
It was without WiFi (which was only available in the main public area). We were told that they are considering providing wifi to the pods - check if this has happened if it matters to you. It was a problem for us.
Another problem was the narrow, winding, uphill road to get to the Cowshed. Encountering an onward coming car requires reversing down a winding, slippery hill with large potholes in the road, not fun.
The good parts, however, are the staff (very friendly and helpful), the view (magnificent), and the sheep which look in thru the bedroom window in the morning (or would if they could).More
