It is difficult to know where to start. The location is superb. We saw fellow guests with cameras just mesmerised by the views. Our greeting was really friendly and the team from reception to bar, housekeeping and restaurant were all absolutely great. Hats off to the management team.

The public rooms were relaxing with open fires and a really well stocked lively bar.
Our room was spotless and really nice with many great personal touches

The food was outstanding with imaginative menus using local ingredients and the service was wonderful.

We walked from the hotel and were rewarded with some of the most memorable scenery as it is set in one of Syke's most beautiful locations.

Everyone we met were delighted by the hotel and its great reputation is well deserved.

Room Tip: Request sea view

What a lovely spot! Comfortable rooms, delicious food and the beautiful scenery outside! Really enjoyed our tour group stay here! Ate in the pub one night and the restaurant the other, both excellent! Rooms were rustic but well-appointed.

Room Tip: Try to avoid being placed over the area where the pub patrons come outside to smoke-- gets noisy!

Comfort at a price on Skye, not that I minded. Set on the southern side of the island not far for the bridge. The location is one of the best and will not disappoint, excellent views over the water to a close by island and a lighthouse. The staff were excellent no complaints here, and thanks to the bar staff for those small chats. The food is also very good with good service, also the hotel incorporates a small whiskey out let with tastings and a art gallery. The bar food is well priced and the mussels come straight off the boat parked at the small jets. The price is a little step but I would stay here again and reccomend this for a short stay.

Thank you for your kind review. We are delighted you had a wonderful stay here with us at Hotel Eilean Iarmain. One of the many joys we have here at the hotel is our local fisherman delivering fresh seafood everyday, straight off the old stone pier, as fast as it comes into the kitchen, its right back out again.
Our price reflects our location and season, as well as remaining competitive with the surrounding hotels.
We look forward to welcoming you back to the Hotel Eilean Iarmain.

This must be one of the most perfect settings for a hotel. Room was clean, warm and comfortable but note many rooms are outwith the main buildings. Staff friendly and helpful. Vegetarian options limited though quite tasty - our preferred place to eat for cosiness, atmosphere and value was the bar. Handy for the Raasay ferry.

We slept there for just 1 night. If I had knew in advance I wouldn't have booked the other nights is Portree.

We booked the suite. A nice split-floor mini apartment with a beautiful view.
The pub is cosy and appears to be a meeting point for the locals too.
We had a good laugh and a nice night out.
Breakfast in the morning was good, as expected.

There were some issues in the IT-department, booking was missed and on checkout the pub-tab was missing. But the staff was attend and helpful, although a bit chaotic, and settled everything fine.

It ain't cheap, but that's for almost all hotels on Skye.
