A decent hotel to stay in for a few nights. Good breakfast in the morning and decent evening meals. Not the most modern hotel , but very comfortable. Standard stuff in the rooms , mini kettle with tea and coffee as well as a TV.
Good shower with plenty of hot water.
Would stay here again.

Room tip: Just be aware there appears to be no lift , so if you have mobility issues choose a room on the ground floor.

Four of us spent 2 nights here, with 3 rooms. It's an old hotel, no elevator, & steep stairs to navigate to the US 2nd floor (UK 1st floor), with a couple of steps up & down along the corridor-in other words, inconvenient if you have more than 1 fairly small bag...& there's no one to help with the bags. 2 of the rooms were large & 1 was a jr. suite size. I'll describe the issues with the 2 standard rooms. Some of the rooms are over a pub located on the side of the hotel, & the soundproofing isn't very good, so you get noise from the music, people & in one instance, a 5am delivery. In my bathroom, the toilet was so close to the wall you had to turn slightly sideways to sit on it. The shower was in a tub, & it had a glass enclosure, making it very narrow. However, there was good water pressure & lots of hot water. Some minor annoyances were: only instant Nescafe provided (tasted horrible, even when desperate for caffeine) & only 2 packets; TV is an 18" screen, located 10-12 feet from the bed or chair, making it kind of useless; the key, which you have to use to lock the room as you enter or leave, is very large & on a large fob, which makes it awkward to carry around. The bed was comfortable, housekeeping was good, and the attached restaurant served very good food, with slightly uneven service. It's the only decent hotel in Broadford, so just be aware of where your room is located. Make sure to ask for one that's not over the pub.
On a side note, the person in the junior suite loved her room, especially since she was nowhere near the pub.

Room tip: Make sure to get a room that's not close to the pub next to the hotel.

We stayed here for one night and really enjoyed it. Rooms are simple but quiet. The location is beautifully set across from the water and a nice little walk. It was a nice place to stay away from the buzz of Portree. Decent breakfast in the morning and nice staff. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

My stay at the Broadford hotel in Skye was a fantastic and lovely experience. The hotel was very pleasant and perfectly located for my visit. The hotel staff were brilliant! I can not praise them highly enough. Very warm and friendly people. The hotel room was ideal for our needs with plenty of room and a very relaxing and comfortable feel.

I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who is going to visit Skye.
