We have recently returned from Mull and whilst we were there we went out on two excursions with Nature Scotland on both a daytime and an evening tour. Our family party consisted of 3 generations and Ewan took time to include all of us making a special effort to engage with my elderly mother so she too gained knowledge and experienced the wildlife. Ewan was both knowledgable and engaging and we thoroughly enjoyed the tours. Going out ion an evening tour enabled us to see the wildlife that becomes more active at night, it was a real treat to see a tawny owl up close and otters fishing in the Loch. The vehicle is very comfortable and I can recommend the hot chocolate!

Having visited Mull twice before, we took our daughter and her partner (both in their 20's and not easy to please!) this time and decided to take an evening tour with Ewan. From the start, his enthusiasm and detailed knowledge about the wildlife of Mull hooked us all. He managed to deliver our first ever sightings of hen harriers and plenty of other sightings which were made more enjoyable by the obvious love he has for Mull and its wildlife. We learned about the different habitats in Mull and projects that were taking place to improve them for wildlife. The time flew past and we were never bored. A magical experience!

Thank you Ewan for a really interesting and informative tour around Tobermory. We all really enjoyed the trip. Our favourite spottings were the buzzards ,otters and hen harrier. We’d definitely recommend Ewan’s trip and would be keen to join another when we come back to the island. Your enthusiasm and knowledge shone through and you took the time to talk to all of us individually. There was plenty to see. We’d recommend anyone to enjoy one of Ewan’s trips. Liz,Ian , Hayley and Alastair.

Our sea trip to see the puffins was cancelled at the last minute due to an impending storm. Fortunately Ewan had two spare places on his tour and despite the rain we saw sea eagles, otters, seals and a variety of birds.
Ewan was clearly very knowledgeable about Mull, its wildlife, flora and fauna.
We really enjoyed the trip and appreciate that the drive around the northern part of the island allowed us to also see beautiful scenery. We certainly recommend this trip.
