Stopped by at the Doune Braes for dinner as it was close to our campsite.
The restaurant was pretty much empty when we got there but the waitress sat us immediately next to some other customers which was a) just a bit uncomfortable as we could hear their conversation just as much as they ours and b) probably not good practice with Covid.
The menu was quite basic and standard fare. The starters were good. The main courses were very "beige". I'd ordered a burger and chips which was supposed to come with coleslaw; the coleslaw was absent and the contents of the burger sorely lacking in anything fresh e.g. lettuce or tomato.More
