Went with shearings tour very good as usual its long haul getting there can be 7 30 when you arrive but meal always ready good entertainment at night this is a real proper old fashioned hotel we've been a few times with friends over last few years . They have revamped the bedrooms and working on outside of the buildings.not much to do in village few more hotels a pavilion where they have things on and old pump house from the spar which is worth a look a bus runs to Dingwall every hour plenty walks

We have stayed at this hotel several times now with Shearings Holidays. It is a lovely hotel that is well maintained. The rooms are clean and spacious. If you book an upgraded room you get the more modern features. The price for the upgrade is well worth it. The food is excellent and they serve it quickly and it is always hot. Its a lovely place in a quiet village setting that is close enough to Inverness and is also served by public transport so getting most places is very easy. Would highly recommend this hotel and the holiday's offered to anyone.

Arrived after a long journey straight in for ecening meal. The room had an excellent view and was kept clean by our housemaid Kate.
You are allocated a table which you keep for the diration of your stay. Saves queing for a table.our waitress bettina was very pleasant and worked very hard as did all the waiting staff a credit to the hotel.
We had a great time and would recommend.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in May as part of a Caledonian tour and were really impressed with the hotel and the tour - it was the first ever tour we had been on. We found the food very good and the staff very pleasant. We had a twin and a single room? The bathroom in the twin had obviously been recently renovated with a lovely walk in shower. We had never stayed in Strathpeffer before although had visited while staying in Beauly. Tam our driver made the trip very pleasant and we would not hesitate in doing another tour in the future.

Arrived here yesterday after a long journey got to reception quick and friendly check in, caters for coach party’s but copes very well, we were on top floor at back of hotel with fantastic views, the room was a twin very clean, and cosy, had shower room which was always hot and very welcoming after a long journey, food is excellent and all staff are lovely, Tuesday in the square you have pipers playing and Scottish dancers a lovely atmosphere. Excursions to Black Isle, Inverness and Loch Ness was enjoyable and the extra excursion to Ullapool was great value for money and great afternoon, our driver was George and was very informative and helpful, we have had a great break couldn’t fault a thing,
