Stayed for a weekend during the Strathpuffer event. The owner couldn't be more helpful. As for the cottage it couldn't be more perfect. Loads of room, aga and standard cookers, fridge freezer and smoke parking. An excellent base for discovering this area.
I was most beautiful holiday , nice view , nice walks , couple minutes drive to waterfalls everything what you need for a 5 stars holiday
We were looking for a comfortable cottage to do our annual Scottish holiday with the extended family. The place was everything we wanted. It was in the country side away from the crowd with a very nice view, yet half an hour from the city convenience, in this case, Inverness. The cottage has a lot of space and a very large garden as well as a good size stone BBQ if you get the weather your way! If you don't, there is a smaller mobile BBQ that you can use in a a more sheltered place. The kitchen is very well equipped with an electric hob, an AGA cooker and separate oven and grill as well as a microwave oven. We only needed the Aga. There is a big shower case in one of the three bathrooms, which was ideal for two less mobiles in our group. We visited with our three year old who loved the huge trampoline. There is a local village shop 10 minutes walk away, which has the essentials. Otherwise, there are a number of good grocers and butchers 10 min drive in Dingwall as well as a 24 hours Tesco's. I certainly recommend this cottage if you are looking for a spacious and comfortable base to explore the Highlands.
