Came here for the second time whilst doing the NC500. Had a few lovely drinks outside overlooking the loch followed by delicious food. Staff could not be faulted. They do a great job considering how busy the place is. It's a must visit and we look forward to coming back! Ps the best fish and chips ever!

What a perfect location! The Inn is surrounded by beautiful highlands that are perfect for motorbiking and overlooks a beach which is perfect for watching the sun set over the water. There is also a highlight of wild deer happily munching away on the grass.

The food is fantastic! My partner and I had the steak which was cooked to perfection and melts in the mouth. Our room was clean and tidy and the shower was amazing, so powerful! The breakfast was also delicious and the land lady was very friendly and helpful. She gave us a map and crossed off places we should visit. Thank you we had a lovely stay and will be back next year.

Absolute amazing place. Room was seaside cottage feel. Super comfy bed and powerful shower. Views from room outstanding and the sunset is STUNNING. I will definitely return to this hotel on a future trip to the highlands.

The Applecross Inn was our first stop on our NC500 motor bike trip. The Inn/Hotel is a is a worthy occupant of this beautiful area.

The rooms were perfectly clean, comfortable and was tastefully decorated. The Inn has an outside sitting area that is perfect for a sunny day - albeit a little cold in the evening. The dining area is in the bar which adds to the warm and friendly atmosphere created by the easy going owners.

Food was magnificent with many dishes created using the produce from the area. A good selection of wines and of course beers provided a great accompaniment. The homemade pate was delicious - a perfect starter.

Breakfast was also superb and set us up nicely for the next leg of our ride.

All this is nothing compared to the great Scottish Highlands hospitality and service from the warm and friendly staff.

Many thanks for a great stay.

If your driving on the west coast of Scotland head to Applegate for a meal to remember in a wonderful setting. Pub style with amazing food. Excellent quality, great staff and a wonderful selection. Sitting in or outside. Always busy and very popular as a main place to stop and head to in the highlands. Visitors from far and wide enjoy, the drive there is breathtaking and one you will remember.
