“A hidden gem.”
Reviewed 15 April 2016 for a stay in April 2016

Diabaig Cottage is a well appointed home away from home. This is our family's second visit and it ticks all the boxes for our needs. It is clean, well equipped and supplied (plenty of firewood for two log burners),( lovely welcome pack) and spacious for our family of four. It has stunning views and there is plenty to do even from the front door such as beach walks and cycle routes. We would highly recommend Diabaig for a great holiday home and base for exploring this beautiful part of Scotland.

Lovely cottage with beautiful views, very quiet and relaxing. Very nicely furnished and well equipped. Log burners were very welcoming when the evenings cooled. Easy and interesting walks from the property and stunning scenery in all directions.

“A wonderful cottage in a wonderful place”

A really comfortable place to stay, thoughtfully and tastefully set up. The views are just stunning - we saw an otter, some stags, and an owl from the comfort of the sun lounge, and of course some sensational sunsets. Wonderful coastal and hill walks, and rich wildlife. The cafe in the old Piping School, open 9-9 is a good option if you can't be bothered to cook, and there are some other first-rate places to eat in easy reach. The roads have improved enormously over the last few years, so you can get to Gairloch or Kylesku in an hour or two and see a lot of this beautiful area - or just stay on the peaceful Coigach Peninsula.

“The perfect "get away from it all"”

Lovely cottage, very well equipped and nicely decorated. Spectacular views and sunsets. If you like your privacy and a quiet environment, this is the place to go. I
The final 16 miles on a winding single track road with sheep can be a challenge, but it is definetively worth it. And there are many things to do. Lovely beaches near-by, great sea-food in the local store and restaurants, fantastic walking and lots of silence if you care to get away from it all. We got lucky and managed to spot otters and seals. Fabulous vacation in a perfect cottage.

Had a great short break in this lovely house. It is very clean and well equipped and the views were stunning. Even dish- washer tabs and detergent were provided. The weather was wild but the house was extremely weatherproof and warm with 2 log- burners. It's an easy walk to the local store and hotel which offers very nice food.
There is no shortage of places to visit with some lovely quiet beaches within easy striking distance.even managed to collect some mussels for our tea.
I would highly recommend this house
