I was walking around the village and found this little shop just up from the Jubilee Fountain.
There are displays of lots of knick knacks and blown glass objects so be careful walking around the shop.
It was interesting watching the owner make another glass Nessie and she was only too happy to chat about her work.
Nice to buy souvenirs that were not made in China.

We were able to watch the artist shaping the glass while we toured the cute little store full of unique gifts that were very affordable. I just loved the glass Nessies that the artist created. I wish I could have spent more time here. It was a perfect way to remember our trip to Loch Ness!

I bought a beautiful glass Lock Ness ornament when visiting Inverness, Scotland. When I got home, I found it had broken even though it was packed in their sturdy cylinder box. I was so disappointed. I emailed Iceberg Glass and asked if I can get another one and have it sent to USA and they kindly and quickly sent me another one, even more beautiful. See photo. Their caring and efficient service is very much admired and appreciated. Thank you Iceberg Glass! If you are not able to visit their studio to see/buy their beautiful creations, they are on Etsy.

We stopped in to this studio while in Ft Augustus. Proprietor was happy to demonstrate her craft. Lucky lady who very obviously enjoys her job and in not just interested in pushing her products. Thanks.

A pretty shop, with plenty of gifts and souvenirs, that are a bit different. There was someone making Nessies out of glass behind the counter while we were there. There's a mix of glass items, such as plaques, jewellery and Christmas decorations, some of which had been made on the premises and some bought in.

The lady behind the counter was very pleasant to talk to, and our purchases were well packed for the journey home.
