Description: A wee gem of a place, cafe within the bookshop. Excellent coffees and wide range of specialist teas. Very tasty soups and sandwiches. Well worth a visit if only to browse the books and music.

fabulous cafe and quirky gallery. But the best thing is the range of books. You can lose yourself for hours just browsing some really different titles.

We had some time to kill before we headed off home, so walked up to the Watermill and we more than filled our morning. The bookshop is excellent and covers many tastes. There was an art exhibition upstairs which we took time to look around as well. Finally settled into the cafe, lovely coffee and gorgeous cake. Definitely will be back.

We enjoyed a very good light meal at The Watermill with good service from very friendly staff. Then we had a good browse in the book shop which is very well stocked. We were able to buy books for our Grandchildren and for ourselves.

There is a wide range of teas, coffees and delicious cakes on offer in this small and characterful cafe. Staff are very friendly and the cafe has plenty of local and visiting customers. The bookshop is well stocked for the size of the premises and the changing exhibitions (photos of treescapes when we visited) well worth the visit.

Three distinct areas to the Water Mill. Retail outlet, tearoom/ cafe and book shop. Visited them all.
Loose tea served here, we had the Belfast blend and bought some to take home. Snack menu available, we had cakes that were home made. Lovely.
Up stairs form inside cafe or outside up the hill is the book shop. The shop was arranged in 3-4 rooms, each with a different theme. Some local art for sale too. Nice small gift ideas, pens, pencils, note pads etc. Happy for you to browse, no one seems to be in a hurry. Spent 2 hours here between snack and browsing. Glad we came across this unique building.
