“Beautiful Cottage”
Reviewed 3 September 2018 for a stay in August 2018

This is a lovely holiday setting and the cottage is very well appointed with a high level of comfort. The views are lovely and, although it is situated next to the Island's cottage hospital, it is very quiet. Lamlash is a reasonably large (in Arran terms!) with shops and eating places very close by. The welcome basket of Arran groceries is a lovely touch. We would very very happy to return at some point in the future and would recommend Dean Lodge to others. Lovely place.

“Lovely cottage in beautiful setting”
Reviewed 24 July 2018 for a stay in July 2018

Dean Lodge is a very well equipped home from home in a lovely setting with beautiful views over Lamlash Bay. Margaret & Iain were very helpful and friendly hosts. We were provided with a welcome basket of tasty Arran treats and, because it was my husband's birthday, a bottle of wine also. There's a squirrel feeder outside the front window and we were able to watch the red squirrels feeding whilst we ate our breakfast. The cottage is in an ideal location, up a slight incline, and within easy walking distance to the shops and eateries in Lamlash . We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back.

“Arran Excellence!”
Reviewed 19 July 2018 for a stay in July 2018

Arrived and was met by both Margaret and Iain. Car parking arrangement is ideal. A very friendly and informal welcome with a good introduction to the features of the property. Our dogs were welcomed too. Initial impressions were very good with the layout of the house being ideal, clean and very well equipped. A welcome basket was provided with local produce - a nice touch. Enclosed decking works really well for safely containing the dogs. We are on day 5 of our 7 day stay and are thoroughly enjoying it. It is simply a lovely place to be!
