“Marvellous location and excellent accommodation.”
Reviewed 4 June 2018 for a stay in May 2018

The location is on a farm and looks up to the hills near Goat Fell. The facilities are everything you want on a self-catering holiday, all provided and catered for. Brodick is close and an easy walk if you don't want to drive. There's so much to see on Arran and to do. We spent fascinating times watching the antics of the birds, including a woodpecker, and of the red squirrel in nearby residence who all visited the bird feeder, especially in the morning. Many thanks again for a lovely week. We certainly hope to come back.

“Excellent cottage close to Brodick”
Reviewed 16 December 2017 for a stay in December 2017

This is one of the nicest cottages I’ve stayed in - beautifully appointed, lovely details, warm, has everything you need for your stay, friendly & very helpful owner, in a quiet location only 10 mins’ walk to the amenities in Brodick. Perfect retreat, or base for exploring Arran for couples or solo travellers. You can sleep under the starts through the dormer window above the very comfortable bed! Lovely contrast in atmosphere between the calm and very spacious sleeping space upstairs, and the cosy sitting / dining / kitchen areas downstairs. Good bath and shower, and utility /entrance / drying space. Only possible caveat is that if you like a lot of windows / direct light, there isn’t a great deal of it in the downstairs living space. For a Winter break this didn’t bother me - the cottage hwas really cosy after dark, and during heavy showers. The rest of the time I was out walking, and it was a wonderful place to return to. And for summer / good weather there is outside seating, with hill views.

Beautiful well appointed cottage which met our needs in every way. Loved the lounge leading onto the kitchen so that we could all chat while preparing meals. Great dining space with fantastic views , Grandchildren loved spending time in here especially) Autumn is a wonderful time to visit Arran the colours are wonderful. Great location for touring island and visiting the pool at Auchrannie, milkshakes at Little Rock, Co-op for everything you need with great range of local produce, Brodick Castle Adventure Playground (with great outdoor café bar for hot drinks or icecreams !!) Icing on cake was the welcome goodies... thank you :)
