“We had a lovely weekend.”

The flat inside was lovely, clean, tidy, well equipped eg tea coffee shampoo soap, cleaning products, towels. The views from the window were lovely it was very quiet. It wasnt far to the lighthouse and the Pulpit pub on the bill and the Eight Kings pub in the village do really nice meals would recommend. The location was good not far to Weymouth and Dorcester.
When we arrived I was disappointed as the Ocean hotel and spa retreat that is advertised had closed down and it was like arriving to a derelict building there was on one there to greet us and had to drive round and ask someone to point us in the right direction, it's a real shame it's closed I think it was a amazing place when open, but that didnt spoil our Anniversary weekend.

Thank you for your review. I am pleased the flat was to your satisfaction and you enjoyed the peaceful location. The hotel and spa have only very recently closed and as such my advert was amended immediately. Specific directions to the apartment are on the advert and I also confirmed them to you in my email on October 6th. I suggested that you could telephone me as well if you wished. However I am pleased that this small problem did not spoil your Anniversary weekend.

“A pleasant pad in a good holiday location”

Good value, and well placed for numerous holiday activities despite its "away from it all" position. Portland is a very special place packed with interest, as is the mainland nearby. A car is an advantage. Not ideal for children, I would say, because of the unusual location. We had a very happy time here and came home much refreshed. I'd forgotten how good it is to feel the sun and wind on your face in the wide open spaces!

“Great Stay, lovely views..!”

Located in an old MOD building this little apartment was a great base for us to visit Portland and Weymouth. Not very beautiful from the outside (though we totally knew what to expect) it has great views from the windows which we both managed to enjoy from the breakfast bar in the mornings (with a little help from a few cushions) there was access from the site straight onto the cliff path and only a short walk down to Portland Bill. The local bus service was brilliant and we used it quite a few times to get into Weymouth during the day and Easton in the evenings for dinner. The apartment had everything we needed, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay..!
