Perfect Location for exploring Isle of Purbeck and beyond. We went off everyday and hardly scratched the surface. Swanage, Durdle door, Lulworth Cove, Jurassic Coast . Tropical gardens, Swannery, Chesil beach to name but a few.
Steam train to Swanage a must.
Corfe itself has everything you need, Bakery, Butcher, corner shop/post office, great pubs, and cafes. Childrens playground. All on your doorstep.
The cottage itself is extremely well equipped, to a high standard. Comfy beds, large dining room , modern kitchen, huge lounge. Loads of leaflets for things to do.
This is probably the best self catering cottage we have stayed in.
Everyone enjoyed their stay, including our 3 year old grandson.
We will definitely return
We can't find anything negative to say about Wissett Cottage! It is a real home from home, with everything you need. It is lovely & spacious, with a pretty courtyard. Big bonus is having off road parking, as the village is busy with not alot of parking in the centre. Really well cared for and very clean, the decor is lovely with lots of quirky items & nooks & crannies. Beautiful walks, beautiful village & castle right on your doorstep. Beautiful coastal scenery nearby too, what more could you want! Had a wonderful week in beautiful Dorset, was sad to leave. Hope to return in the future!!
This quintessential holiday cottage in Corfe is true luxury. It's has absolutely everything you need to make your holiday perfect and stress free. The cottage itself is rather big inside and is very warm and welcoming. The living room is very comfortable and the big dining table is wonderful to sit round with the family. The upstairs is spacious too.
Very close to all amenities in Corfe. Will definitely book again.
We had yet another wonderful week at this beautiful and super equipped cottage. Everything about this cottage is perfect, from its location to its very comfortable interior. We are looking forward to our next visit.
Wissett cottage is perfectly located just a short walk from the centre of Corfe and the amenities there. The cottage itself is lovely - very well appointed with everything you could need and immaculately clean. It's the archetypal English cottage with an excellent modern kitchen. There is plenty of room downstairs, with both a sitting room and a dining room. Although one side of the cottage is on a main road, it's has secondary glazing which really keeps the noise out.
We would highly recommend it and will definitely going back to stay again!
