“A beautiful cottage in a fabulous location”
Reviewed 2 November 2016 for a stay in October 2016

We had a fantastic week at this lovely cottage with our two boys and whippet. It has everything you need, the beds were so comfortable we really struggled to get up each morning! The enclosed garden was a huge bonus for our dog. Beaminster is a lovely village with great amenities - co-op, bakers, butchers, grocers, pub, what more do you need?! The cottage is perfectly located for the coast - the beautiful Lyme Regis and West Bay are just down the road. We had a really lovely time and I didn't want to leave, we will be back next year!

“Another fantastic relaxing stay”
Reviewed 18 September 2016 for a stay in September 2016

Just returned from another fantastic stay at Albert Cottage. Lovely and relaxing place only a short walk to the centre of Beaminster, dogs loved it. Our 2nd stay here and already booked again for next year. Owners really friendly and cannot do enough for you. A real fab place to stay.

“Albert cottage what a gem”
Reviewed 10 April 2016 for a stay in April 2016

Just back from a week in this lovely cottage. Everything been said already about the place, everything you need for a hassle free stay is provided. The little touch off a Easter egg and some chocolate cookies was perfect. Beaminster is ideal for exploring the surrounding area. Only issue that we could point out was that the property is on a fairly busy road. Thanks for a great stay

“Excellent , a real home from home, loved it.”
Reviewed 3 April 2016 for a stay in March 2016

A really well furnished and equipped traditional house in a fabulous small town. Well located close to the town with its array of shops, restaurants bakeries and pubs. Even a small but well stocked Coop. Parking on site. Close to the sea, and in the country, lots of lovely walks for our lively dog Rufus. Great communications with John and Elaine, and whilst we didn't need them for anything it was good to know they were just a phone call away. Beautifully clean and warm. Secure garden for Rufus a big plus as he loves being outside.
Two lovely and sensibly priced meals at the Red Lion, and all the staff were great. Pub was dog friendly as was The Greyhound.
Can't fault Albert Cottage, and will be booking again when we can sort out our diaries.
Thanks John and Elaine.

“Friend's 50th Birthday Weekend”
Reviewed 26 November 2015 for a stay in November 2015

We spent a wonderful weekend here in Albert Cottage, so celebrate our friend's 50th birthday. The cottage was beautifully decorated, very inviting and well equipped with everything we needed. We enjoyed being able to walk into the little town of Beaminster, for coffee and a browse around the local shops. The short drive down to West Bay was definitely worth a trip, made even more enjoyable by the sunshine and a walk along the cliff tops.
In Beaminster, there were a number of local places to eat, and we enjoyed a good meal in Brassica.
Lyme Regis is only a 25 minute drive, so we spent Sunday morning there before heading home to Hampshire.
Overall a wonderful place to stay especially as Elaine and John are such generous, welcoming people! Thank you!! Look forward to returning soon!!
