“Great place for a break”
Reviewed 31 October 2011 for a stay in October 2011

Our family and friends (4 adults & 4 childred) stayed at Harp House for 4 nights over half-term and had a fantastic time. The house was very nicely decorated and well equiped. The complimentary wine & breakfast basket (tea/bread/butter/milk) was a nice touch. Booking & key collection process couldn't be easier.

The location of the house was great for the beach and visiting the surrounding area. The kids loved the beach and being a couple of minutes' walk away meant they were there as often as they wanted. If you love rock pooling, you'd love the bay by Smugglers Cove. The house is along a street with all the local shops, so very convenient for essentials, but not so busy that you'd notice the traffic. Parking is a bit trickly, as it is restricted to one hour outside the house. We did manage to find parking in the village fairly easily but would imaging at other peak times you would have to use the long stay car park by the Ness. The house does come with a garage less than 5 mins walk away but we didn't really use it.

Would highly recommend Harp House to especially those with small children.

Thank you, Kelly!
