“Fantastically appointed houses in a lovely village in a great part of the world.”
Reviewed 29 March 2016 for a stay in March 2016

We rented both houses for a 50th birthday party and had 17 staying.
Firstly the communication from Dom in securing the booking was excellent. There is plenty of excellent information on the website but Dom was also very good at sending / reminding us the pertinent bits - like where to park when we arrived, how to gain access, what was where and so on - at timely intervals.
The houses themselves are very well designed and renovated to a high but practical standard. There are some lovely features & architectural indulgences here, but that does not detract from the fact that both houses are fully functional and you didn't feel like you were in a gallery, afraid to touch things. Boogie boards to borrow out the back were a lovely touch.
Its a great location for access to both the beach & dog walking areas. I highly recommend a stroll to Morte Point for the views of the bay. The village and pub opposite are delightful too. 1 minor downside was that although the dining table in the Buttery is large, we werent able to have all 17 sitting down to the 50th dinner together, managing probably 13, but that was a minor issue, and doubt many groups would want to do this anyway.

Overall a very good weekend break. Highly recommended and we will be coming back.

“Fantastic accommodation, great location, well equipped house with all you need.”
Reviewed 3 February 2016 for a stay in January 2016

Loved my first visit to The Crescent. The houses are well located and a short distance to the beach & coastal walk. A nice design and well equipped with somewhere to dry wetsuits, good games e.t.c. and large kitchen tables for that well-earned post surf feast!

“An awesome, cosy weekend with surf and cliff-top walks”
Reviewed 27 January 2016 for a stay in January 2016

It was so good to come back to one of my favourite places in the world! My friends and I had a great weekend and I loved introducing those who hadn't been to The Cresent before to the houses and area.

“Fantastic, well equipped and ideally located house for 1yr old through to grandparents”

Stunning location and really well equipped house, great kitchen and set up well with pace for hanging wetsuits and drying area.

All bedrooms are a great size, plenty of bathrooms with quality fittings, wifi for the 13 yr old who can't be unconnected!

Parking for one car, everything you need for a family get together...

Can't fault the buttery, owners comms were great, and the local shops and pubs are really friendly, with wollacombe just down the road.

We will defiantly be back! Highly recommended.

We've just returned from a fabulous Mon -Fri stay at the cresent for New year celebrations. As a party of 19 including 11 adults and 8 kid's both houses are so spacious that the kid's could easily get lost . From day one of contacting the owner Dom his communication has been first class and very helpful. Both houses are immaculate and very well equipped, the wifi really good which is great with a 13 yr old ! The beds are very comfortable and location is superb ! Probably 10 meters to the nearest pub ☺. All in all a wonderful time was spent with family and friends and we'll definitely be using these properties again.
