The caravan is lovely, we are staying at 64 Damson Green and their is nothing wrong with the caravan it has everything you need for a lovely holiday, views are great, my only gripe is their is absolutely no wi-fi or internet, when I spoke to reception about buying wi-fi I was told it was a waste of money because you won’t get any, yet on their web page it say you can buy on line before you go on holiday or buy when you reach the park from the reception, a bit misleading I think, every time we wanted to make a phone call we had to go off site or we disappointed the grandkids. Just hope we don’t need the doctor while we are here, still here for another week. The food here is very expensive, not done the entertainment yet but was told it’s gets so packed you can’t get in at the weekends.

Room Tip: If you depend on you’re Wi-fi then this is not for you.

Dear Guest,

Thanks for the review although sorry to read that WiFi is being a bit problematic for you. We do have WiFi which stretches across most of the Park and whilst we are always improving this service, as I'm sure you can appreciate providing uninterrupted high speed internet across 250 acres of undulating parkland is always going to be something of a struggle.

Nonetheless, we have full signal in the main clubhouse should you wish to check e-mails.

Sorry for any confusion, however our WiFi is provided by a third party company which may be purchased through your device one you're here, should you require it.

Best Wishes,
Guest Relations

We stayed in private caravan.immaculate perfect spot sea views.
Campsite very clean.
Beach disappointing .
One of the best beaches in Devon .it was covered in seaweed which dried in sun and covered in flies.Would have been good to clear the beach

Really big site, probably the biggest site I have ever been on with Haven. The phone signal is bad so I had to pay for wifi. The facilities were fantastic and you had a good choice of food and drink. The entertainment was top class, better than the ones that I usually have on the Weymouth sites. Will highly reccomend.

Dear Gareth W,

Thank you so much Gareth for your 5 star review! We are indeed the largest of Haven Parks in the UK! Phone signal is very intermittent on the park, which for some may be a blessing, escaping the everyday, although for others not ideal and we do have WiFi available with large, speedier, packages to upgrade to if needed. We love that you had a fab time here, from food and drink to entertainment! Fab! That's what holidays are all about!!

Thank you for recommending us to others, this means so much to our park team and so a huge thank you from all here at Devon Cliffs!

See you again soon :)

Kindest Regards

Vicky

We stayed at Devon Cliffs from the 18th of June for a week and booked through Newman’s. Highly recommend Newman’s holidays since not only can you choose and view your caravan before booking, there’s no manic check in queues and stress!! Plus it was cheaper than through Haven. Triple win! We stayed in Karo Place, overlooking the sea and within easy reach of both the complex and the beach.

We didn’t do the entertainment- far too busy and loud for us. We did however enjoy the pools, the weather was glorious and we loved the outside pools and slides the best. We also did the pic ‘n’ paint pottery that was on site. It was a fantastic family activity and we now have our potteries displayed on the mantelpiece to remind us of our holiday. The pottery was reasonable priced and the lady- Keisha- was very friendly, helpful and enthusiastic about her job. We also did the mini golf, which was fun but expensive for what it was, in my opinion. The other activities throughout the week didn’t really appeal to us and again, we found them expensive. We also loved the beach.. very beautiful, quiet and unspoilt. Totally worth the steep hill to get to the beach. Good for swimming, sandcastle building, rock pooling and kite flying. Just watch the seagulls because any tiny bit of food they will swoop- we had Pringles and they kept sneaking up!!

We ate on site at the South Beach Cafe. It’s in an absolutely beautiful setting, overlooking the beach. We had dinner one night and breakfast another morning. The food is so tasty, good quality and worth every penny. The waiting staff are very friendly and the atmosphere is great- the only one teeny complaint is that the food took a long time to come and with small children this isn’t ideal. We also had chips from Cooks, very tasty! And we ordered pizza to the caravan one evening which was also very tasty. Priced reasonably and on par with regular takeaways.

We also did a day trip to Exmouth. Again another beautiful beach. Parking is cheap and there’s plenty of spaces, or you can hop on the bus from the park and it’s from something like 70p each. There’s also a place that does gorgeous ice cream on the seafront- soo many cool flavours to choose from. The Exmouth observational wheel is great, especially for the children, and reasonably priced. There’s the normal selection of high street shops as well, with holiday shops to pick up your beach essentials and another place that does fantastic homemade ice cream- and even dairy free ice cream.

All in all, we had a FANTASTIC family trip. It got a bit busier and rowdier at the weekend, but we just did our own thing. Before booking I read the reviews here and was put off- don’t be! Nowhere is perfect and we all have different views so try it out for yourself.. you won’t be disappointed

Dear Summer N!

What a wonderful review you have offered for us here at Haven Devon Cliffs regarding your family holiday with us. I am so pleased to see your booking through Newman's was suitable for your needs and the location in Karo Place idyllic, the best of the both worlds between the beach and complex.

I am so glad, that although the entertainment was not for your family you still had plenty to do on the park and at our beach. it truly is wonderful beach, Our Seagulls love it and clearly also love Pringles!

We are very lucky to have South Beach amongst other food venues, Fab food, drink and amazing views, whats more to want! I am sorry for any wait you received. Food is prepared and cooked freshly to order but i am glad it was worth the wait.

Your holiday experience sounds so lovely, you really have made the most of your family time, not only here on park but also in the local area. its a lovely review to read and so thank you once again.

We hope to see you again soon.

Kindest Regards

Vicky

We recently stayed here as a family for a wedding. Our caravan was situated on Gorse Hill, let me tell you, the clue is in the name! It was a steep hill and not very good for people with walking difficulties. I had emailed previously but they do say that it can not be guaranteed. The caravan itself was lovely, i think it was of gold standard, the only problem being Ants! All over the kitchen and living area, on the work tops on the shelves. We were only really in the caravan for a couple of hours on Friday and Saturday night due to being at the wedding and leaving on Sunday, but had we been staying longer it would of definitely been worth getting reported. Would we come back? Possibly if we could be guaranteed a caravan on a flatter part of the park.

Dear Cand-1991,

Thank you so much for your lovely review of our park and your stay. I hope the wedding was a lovely family memory for you all.

We sure are very hilly although we always do our very best to accommodate all special requests I hope this area wasn't too hilly for you to enjoy.

In the beginning of the warmer months we do have 'unwanted visitors' and whilst we know this does not prove a hygiene issue, it certainly can be frustrating and we realise not a nice experience. The Pitches are annually treated and the team do treat when we have visits.I ma sorry they were present however during your stay.

Please do let us know when you plan to return, whilst we are unable to guarantee location, we really will do our best for your needs, i'm sure you will have a another nice break away.

Kindest Regards

Vicky
