Lovely campsite for tents and caravans I've been coming her for over 20 years and it's still nice , peak season it's very busy lots of onsite stuff , and great walks from the site , my biggest let down this year has been the way the STAFF drive around site MUCH TOO FAST ,

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review, and we are so pleased that you are still enjoying your stays with us and have been coming here for over 20 years, I have passed your comment onto the management team regarding the speed of vehicles on site, we have introduced electronic speed signs around the park this year but we will remind staff of the 5 mph speed limit at our weekly meeting. we do hope you visit us again soon, Regards Tracy

We have stayed at many Caravan holiday sites over the years and this is one of the best we have visited. Our First visit but impressed from our first walk round. Very well kept, relaxed atmosphere, Friendly staff in the bar and decent choice of beers and Ciders on tap. Had a meal in the restaurant which was reasonably priced, well presented and tasty. The weather obviously helps but everybody on site seems very happy with accommodation and facilities. A special mention to the security staff who were very helpful when my other half mislaid her mobile phone. A happy ending thank you.

Just returned from a weeks family holiday staying in 4 bedroom Alder Lodge (with hot tub)
Had an amazing time with our 2 year old grandson. Accomodation beyond expectations.
Staff friendly and helpful. Lovely indoor and outdoor pool. 10 minute walk to Dawlish Warren.
Campsite very peaceful and quiet. Had an occassional early evening drink in bar so unable to comment on evening entertainment.
Already looking at returning next year. Highly recommendable.

We returned from a 7night break yesterday. After reading some of the reviews on here I was a little worried about what to expect. But the people who left the bad reviews must have been living in a dream world! The lodge was immaculate, as was the site. It was quiet, peaceful and just pure heaven. Our oven wasn't working too well so my partner went to reception and the lady behind the desk (He forgot to get her name) issued us with a voucher for dinner and drinks for our family! The food was lovely too. Cant comment on the entertainment in the evenings as my partner and children were having far too much fun spending time in the hot tub every evening. The pools were warm and not too busy. Everything is a short drive from site, and Dawlish Warren beach was just beautiful. I didn't want to leave to come home and already looking at booking for next year. Recommend to absolutely anyone! Thankyou for making our holiday so perfect!

Very clean site with a nice outdoor and indoor pool. Large club area. Not too overcrowded as out of season. Lovely friendly staff throughout. We stayed in Hornbeam Lodge with Hot Tub. Lovely clean and very comfortable lodge. We were able to get into the lodge a couple of hours early which was great. The inside of the lodge was spotless but outside not so good. So I found a broom and swept the rather large decking. The rattan furniture had no cushions and was covered in bird poo, and the hot tub wasn't working. however, we spoke to reception and within 20 mins there was a team who cleaned the furniture and sorted out the hot tub as it had tripped. Very good customer service. Little niggles, both toilet seats moved, not a full set of kitchen utensils, and only one towel provided per person. All the previous lodges we have stayed in with hot tubs have provided at least 2 bath towels and a hand towel per person and a floor towel. Luckily we did take extra towels. But I do think at least one hand towel and a floor towel per bathroom should be provided. Nice little touch was a box on arrival that had a dishcloth, tea towel and teas and coffees in, it would have been a better touch if it contained milk so you could have a cuppa as soon as you arrive. Breakfast in Oceans was a great price and very tasty, and the Sunday Carvery was exceptional. The fish and chips were also lovely, the kebabs however were not. Two of our party had kebabs and when we opened them back at the lodge, they looked nothing like the picture lol. The salad consisted of 2 slices of tomatoes and 2 slices cucumber with a minimal sprinkling of red onion.........More salad required guys, just like your advertisement shows. And as for the chips OMG, we had a family bucket, cost £10, worked out the same price as 4 small portions, but the chips were actually served up in a large bucket (minus the spade). It was big enough to feed a family of 8, hence there was rather a lot leftover. The walk from the lodge to the main complex is a struggle if you have any ailments, and dislike walking. It's quite a steep hill. Think that they should look into access from the bottom of the hill, maybe put in some stairs, this will then enable you direct access to main complex rather than walking up the hill to roadway, and then having to walk down the hill/ roadway to main complex. Overall a lovely place to stay.
