Our drinks were lovely, and we really enjoyed them. We liked that they were good value for money (about two pounds each). The setting was lovely, very tranquil and fascinating. It was lovely to see the owner is also an artist and understands the importance of macrobiotic diets, and other dietary needs, which was reflected in the array of cakes this place had on offer. I'm having to downgrade this review from five stars to four for two specific reasons. The first is the twenty five minute wait we had for our drinks to arrive, when the setting was empty bar a group of ladies sitting next to me and my relatives. The second was the attitude of the young waitress, she couldn't have looked more unhappy and looked like she didn't want to be there, as well as seeming quite fumbling when she was asked for extra milk or if the vegan cakes were gluten free, or even for recommendations on the area. That being said, we've all agreed we'd love to return here to experience that peace and quiet you present so flawlessly.
