We had a lovely stay at this cottage. It is well equipped and comfortable. There is a pub and a tea room right next door and the village shop is nearby too. We made use of the wood burner which is a nice touch. There are plenty of beautiful walks from the cottage. The only reason I haven’t given five stars is because the owner knocked on the door on the Sunday afternoon and then again on the Monday morning asking when we were going to leave which made us feel rushed and felt it was a bit intrusive.
We had an amazing few days in this beautiful cottage ! Small but everything we needed and very cosy and homely. Very comfy beds and we loved the log burner ( you can buy logs etc from the village shop) unfortunately we couldnt try out the food at the pub as being refurbished but will have to come again and try it !! Loved listening to church bells on Thursday evening! The location is fantastic, we were fascinated by all the other thatched cottages as we walked over the little stream next to the cottage and up the lane. Just beautiful!
Primrose tearooms has got to be the best cream tea I've ever had ! And my husband had the cheese scones which were something else !!!
We'll definitely be back !!
