We stayed at St Pete's Nest for a week, and have had a fantastic time, our little nest for the week has been great, its small but just like the pictures and is an ideal base for a holiday in Brixham, Situated on the main high street just down a little passage/entry next to the barbers shop, then climb approx.. 32 steps to the accommodation, there is a co-op shop just next to the barbers so easy to pop down to buy anything that you need and its open until 11pm at night. I don't think because of the steps outside and also the stairs inside the accommodation that it would be suitable for anyone with difficulties climbing stairs however its such a great base and has everything that you need. The owners have added lots of nice extra touches - there was tea and coffee and sugar (although i had still brought my own) and dishcloths and washing up liquid in the cupboards a dyson small hoover and iron , Lovely big bath sheets and towels , and plenty of cutlery and plates and glasses in the cupboards.
It was lovely upstairs to open the large window/door to let in the sea air and lovely views of the cottages an rooftops.
We had fish and chips to take out from Simply Fish just around the corner and brought them back to the room, although you can eat them inside their restaurant.
We had a few drinks in the old market place , which is situated in front of the golden hind great place to people watch, there was a small market outside there on a Saturday.
Great to take a boat across to Torquay from the Harbour is was only £3 return , took approx. 30 mins to get across ,they run every 45 mins until approx. 5pm much cheaper than parking and also getting stuck in traffic would definitely recommend it
We had a couple of meals and a breakfast in the Weatherspoon's always good value for money
There is a lido / outdoor pool, which you can walk to following around the harbour, and you can carry on walking up to berry head a nice walk up to the headland through a small wood, t the top is aa café that does a lovely cream tea the harbour would again recommend

My wife and I recently stayed here after looking online.
Once we arrived it was a bit tricky to find, although we later found a route straight from the car park (the only place to park, very cheap £2.20 night rate from 6pm-10am) across the high street up the stairs by the co op and barbers.
The place is not the largest but is really cosy with great underfloor heating, modern decor, a bedroom downstairs with nice bathroom and power shower and a great bed upstairs above the living room.
The place has good internet and decent tv.
The location is brilliant to explore the english riviera and beyond.
I was really impressed with this place and would happily come back again.
Its amazing to think that this was once a shed for storing fishing nets and what the owners have transformed it into. This olace is great in the summer with its big opening double doors in the living room and also in the winter with the dimmable spot lights over a glass of wine and nice warm floor heating!!!
