Went for a late breakfast with some fussy eaters, everybody happy with the quality of the food, service and attention from the staff was great. Thoroughly enjoyable. Not a fan of eateries that allow dogs though.

We visited the Breakwater Bistro for brunch, to show a bit of loyalty after their troubles with the storm. We ordered an all day breakfast, bacon bap and tea. Modest fare, but easily spoiled. The all day breakfast was excellent, and the bap came toasted on the inside, so nice and warm, with lovely crispy bacon and plenty of it. The tea was good quality too. The prices are reasonable, and the staff are friendly. What's not to like!!!!

Can thoroughly recommend for modest snacks/brunch. The great views from upstairs are a bonus.

Went for dinner on a Friday evening at the rockfish.

Had crab cakes (amazing tobassco fish sauce), cockles, mussels and fish and chips. Also had curry sauce (amazing) jalapeño tartar and long stem broccoli in chilli.

The food tastes nice and the piece of cod was fantastic. Unlimited chips is always something to behold.

We felt that some of the staff didn’t quite make the experience memorable. Bringing bottled beer to the table without taking top off. Walking past without making eye contact so that you could not get there attention. Bringing over the bill and then proceeding to fold napkins without returning.

Think that the prices are quite high considering the level of service and what some of the food is. £4 for a side of broccoli and £5 for a 500ml bottle of beer.

We had a nice time and it is worth the visit but didn’t feel it quite delivered.

Went here with my family (4 people), I was very excited as I saw it had a vegan option (the Homemade Mushroom Korma) and it did not disappoint! Everyone enjoyed their food and it was presented beautifully, especially my mums Flaming Baileys Brulée, which was actually flaming!! My dad was also impressed with his Battered Local Fish of the Day which he thoroughly enjoyed. Food and drinks were all fantastic and served by a very helpful and friendly waitress Anna.
We are on holiday and go home tomorrow and we all agree that we couldn't have had a better final dinner, the food was delicious, the service was amazing, and the view over the Breakwater Beach was great!
