“WOW, WOW, WOW”
Reviewed 5 May 2014 for a stay in April 2014

Saw this property advertised when I was looking for a smaller property in the area.
Decided to book it regardless and we were not disappointed.
Stunning views across the bay, great kitchen facilities. Bedrooms are lovely with great views as well.
Audio Visual system was excellent with a great library of films and music.
We have stayed in many properties around the world and this is up there with the best of them. Would recommend Seaview to everyone.
Never seen a bag of bird seed go in one week on the bird feeder, birds are queuing up as soon as you refill the feeder.
Will definitely return soon.

“Dream holiday home!”
Reviewed 13 April 2014 for a stay in April 2014

This wonderful house provided a memorable family gathering for a 50th birthday. It is difficult to describe just how wonderful Seaview is. The views are breathtaking and panoramic with vantage points from many rooms and amazing view from the landscaped garden.
On arrival the house was immaculately clean and the owners greeted us and showed us around and how to use amenities of which there are many! Family favourites were the integral coffee machine and the 100" projector screen. Heated bathroom floors and excellent showers were a treat.
Overall the decor and presentation was stunning. We would happily have moved in permanently!
The area was great for gentle exploration. We enjoyed the beach and local towns. The place was so lovely that we stayed in most evenings to enjoy cooking in the excellent kitchen and to enjoy the films!
This truly is a dream holiday place. Everything is high quality and beautifully presented.
If we ever win the lottery this would be the place to buy!!!

“Stunning property”
Reviewed 8 September 2013 for a stay in September 2013

Expect to be wowed! It is difficult to describe this house without running out of superlatives. From the moment you step inside the door the furnishings are lovely and the view from the dining/living area is fabulous. The house is amazingly equipped from the coffee maker (fresh ground in the morning, fab!) to a glass for every drink or occasion. Two, yes two bbqs (gas for those in a hurry, charcoal (supplied) for those more patient) fabulous space outside for children and adults with stunning views. Lovely comfy beds and fluffy towels. In all Maggie and Allan have created a little paradise so good we ate in nearly every night, because, it seemed a waste of the wonderful view from the dining area. The weather was brilliant so we did not venture from the beautiful beaches at Bigbury. The children from18 months to 33 years loved every minute. The curry at the Pilchard Inn, very good. Highlights, too many to say, a holiday that will remain with us for a very very long time. Thanks Maggie & Allan

“One of the best views in the country.”
Reviewed 5 August 2013 for a stay in July 2013

You would be pushed to better the view from the panoramic windows in the living area in this well-appointed house. You will also lack for nothing in facilities and appliances, all tastefully chosen to create a relaxing, comfortable, modern living environment. We took our extended family, including six grandchildren, ranging in age from 13th months to almost 8 years old, to Seaview for a get-together to celebrate our Ruby Wedding Anniversary. They all had an idyllic time both on the beach (miles of soft, clean sand, exciting waves and plenty of rocks to climb), with one grand-daughter saying that she wanted to stay at Seaview, and that it was better than home! One minor drawback is that the hill is steep, and it is a long push back up to the house with a stroller laden with young children and beachgear. Saying that, there is a car park (a bit pricey though) at the bottom of the hill if you haven't got the energy.

“Great house, great views, great weather”
Reviewed 16 July 2013 for a stay in July 2013

Fabulous property with everything an extended family gathering would ever need. Celebrating an 80th birthday we needed to please ages from 18 to 80. The Seaview was perfect. We all took full advantage of the garden furniture and the beautiful views. The gas BBQ was well used and we really appreciated the beach games provided. The weather was amazing so being so close to the most beautiful beach was a huge benefit. Both Kingsbridge and Salcombe are lovely places to visit. The holiday was one of the best we have ever spent in the UK, thank you Seaview!
