The hotel is nothing special , with a clean bedroom and decent breakfast but the staff are engaging and helpful. In particular the bar man Steev who struck the right note between making recommendations but not taking imposing on our family gathering.The bar area and restaurant are very decorated in a modern and soothing woodland theme. The two evenings we ate there the food was exceptionally good.
Travelled to the island to watch a rugby match, as with our previous 3 visits, all based at Le Friquet. Once again nothing but the highest standards, and this time an upgrade to a superior room, excellently fitted out. Food again excellent, splendid choice, and the staff were first rate, polite and courteous, never missing a chance to smile. Shreev again a font of knowledge behind the bar, and a cheeky Maderian waitress always had a smile no matter what time of day. Once again James can be proud of his team, and his personality is reflected in an obvious philosophy "The guest always comes first". Looking forward to our next visit and match.
Excellent staycation with my Bestie. Took advantage of their special offer of dinner, b&b for £49 per person.
Upgraded to newly refurbished room which was beautiful. Classy interior decor. Powerful raindrop shower in large bathroom. King size bed very comfortable, though pillows on the large size for me, for sleeping.
All the staff were charming and friendly without being intrusive.
The bar staff were knowledgeable about the gins and the food at dinner was delicious.
Breakfast was also really good, with a great choice.....including black pudding and fried bread! Poached eggs cooked to perfection and waitresses were charming.
Highly recommended.

We stayed here for a long weekend and were amazed by the exceptional standards of staff and food. We were greeted by name upon arrival at reception and on entry to the restaurant. The bar/lounge area is comfortable with sympathetic lighting and quiet background music. Restaurant well designed with plenty of space between tables. Food exceptional across the range of the menu with staff extremely professional and attentive. The garden suite was clean, comfortable and recently decorated. Car park is large and gardens well maintained. In all a very nice place to stay and we have no hesitation in recommending Le Friquet in every respect.

Whenever we travel to Guernsey Le Friquet Hotel is our hotel of choice and it seems to get better every time. The reception staff were very helpful, especially as we had to make several changes to our plans due to the weather and ferry cancellations. We were visiting friends so we did not take evening meals. however the breakfast was good and the staff very polite and friendly. We experienced no problems and were made to feel most welcome - we will return.

Lovely room overlooking garden, warm, welcoming & spotlessly clean. Tea & coffee facilities, comfy bed, nice bedlinen and towels. Good location for exploring Guernsey and if you don't have a car there is a bus stop nearby. The food was excellent, so good that we had dinner each evening, and the fresh fish was amazing! The staff are very friendly and helpful, nothing too much trouble. Will definitely be going again soon.
