This pace was a great location but the food was very average - it was trying to be more than it was so it greatly disappointed. The crab sandwich had very little crab in it and the bread was very dry. The salmon was very over cooked. The cod was ok and the steak pie ok but very ordinary pub food. Could have been so much better!

Great location and good selection of beers. We didn’t eat here as we just popped in for a drink whilst out walking, but the food looked good.
Coffee was good too.

Thank Nicola H

This pub is clearly a popular place - but there’s not much competition nearby. We dropped in for lunch on a baking hot day and sat outside in the shade - there’s plenty of seating inside and out. We both had crab sandwich with chips on the side. The food was excellent - fresh crab nicely prepared on “proper” bread with a small amount of salad. We really enjoyed it but we thought it (and the rest of the menu) was a bit on the expensive side compared to other pubs and restaurants elsewhere on the island. The staff were really friendly and helpful and overall we thought was reasonable.

Surprised that it was not full on a sunny Sunday.
Two of us ordered moules and one ordered a super salad.
My moules were luke warm and they replaced them.

Average food, had better moules.

Draft Stella cider was good.

Away from Sy Helier this gem can be reached by the number 12a Bus from St Helier and St Aubin. A feel find in a remote area that overlooks the Bay. Well worth a visit and service and food as well as beers is very good. Do not miss it!
