“Great hideaway in stormy times”

Our stay was literally "blown by the wind" because we were haunted by (Ex-) Hurrican OPHELIA as well as storm BRIAN, who came over us within one week. So much the better that we had a perfect hideway in this great specious cottage with its conservatorium and big, big kitchen. Situated very secluded but yet in good reach of the amenities of Gorey with its bars and shopping possibilites, the whole cottage offered to us a warm and cosy feeling in this stormy weather. Execellent price/service proportion also because heating, electricity and Wifi are included in the price. All attractions of the Wicklows, Beaches and the coasts of Wexford and Waterford are in easy reach. Especially great was the warmth and care of the owner. Deidre was always at hand and made us feel very secure during the devastating storms. When our ferry had to be cancelled we were able to extend our stay until our departure. Thanks again, Deirdre! :-). We definately recommend this cottage especially to big families, because it has lots of bedrooms, much space and a lovely rural location without any traffic.
