We stayed here twice in same trip. This is very close to I-90 exit, several nearby restaurants and within 90 miles of most attractions in area. The rooms are quiet due to good construction, even with teenagers on our floor there was no noise. The rooms mid-week were reasonable but weekend prices almost double. The inn charges a "Liv it up Rewards" fee of $7.95 per night which is extortion for minimal benefit. The suite mid-week was great, spacious, etc. The weekend room was nice but a letdown. Parking was plentiful. There was an office setup with 2 computers and a printer for alrline check-in, internet browsing for restaurants, etc - much appreciated. The free breakfast was nice like other Americinns with scrambled eggs, sausage, fruit (not much choice), waffles, etc.We would stay here again but would check to see if could get out of the Rewards fee.

Second hotel we stayed in rapid city. Both of very poor quality. Lots of tourists and very busy, but that’s no excuse for failing to keep things clean. The breakfast room had food and spills all over tables and floors. I recommend travelers avoid.

You just cant beat the value of AmericInn Hotels. Rapid City has many options to stay at. But this location and staff make you feel at home, thanks to the young lady working at check in. Close to a lot of restaurant options too.

The carpet in our room was filthy. Our 2 year old granddaughter hates shoes. She took off her sandels and her feet were just black within minutes. The floor along the edges in the bathroom was dirty too. I had my socks on and noticed that it was extremely sticky by the window. Breakfast area was very crowded and there was a big dog in there shaking hair all over everyone's food. I felt that they should have asked them to keep the dog away from the areas where you got your food from and where the tables were. Other people were complaining about that as well.

The room was clean and well stocked. Aaron at the front desk was awesome. The pool was not very big but worked for the short swims we did at the hotel. They give you passes to a water park near by that the kids absolutely loved.
