“Amazing place with World Class trout pond!”
Reviewed 3 May 2017 for a stay in March 2017

We stayed here this spring and were amazed by all the public land surrounding the property. Not only were the amenities amazing, but the owners let us fish in their world class trout pond and it was a blast! HUGE FISH! The place was clean, spacious, comfortable and private. We are definitely going back next year!

“The place to stay for your Blackhill's adventures!”
Reviewed 18 April 2017 for a stay in April 2017

I had the best times staying here on a visit to the Blackhills. I ate at the Pasta Corral and tried their pasta and meatball dinner. It was exquisite and up there with some much more expensive restaurants in big cities that I'm used to. The camp is clean and has a beautiful setting with large pines an updated old corral and root cellar that provides interest along with being a site that General George Custer used as a campsite in 1874. In addition I was able to see the beautiful trout that were at least 6 plus pounds and over 24 inch in the pond, they were huge! I wish I could catch ones like this when trout fishing in Colorado and new Mexico. Highly recommend!
