We picked this location because it was reasonably close to the things we wanted to see - Rushmore, Custer State Park, Spearfish Falls, Deadwood, etc. It was perfect for the two families (3 adults, 4 kids), and we will definitely recommend this place to others. The architecture and inside details were amazing. The infrared grill seemed new, and was great to cook dinner on each evening. The kitchen and dining table were large are never seemed to get crowded, and we cooked a hearty breakfast there each morning.
Even though the cabin doesn't have AC, we never felt a need for it since we were there until 9am, and would return around 5-6pm each evening. Open the windows, and it cools off quickly inside. And amazingly enough, three teenagers were without Wi-Fi at the cabin and were fine! We brought board games and played games at the table each night, so that was fun to see, too.
It was an all around great space for our South Dakota trip.
