We (2 adults and a 3 & a 4 yr old) stayed here for five nights, it is an great location, close to Loch Lomond, Balloch castle, Loch Katrine, Stirling, didn't have time to do everything! The kids had a great time exploring the woodland area the Jacuzzi and petting the animals. The space was really welcoming, the accommodation is all brand new and finished to a high standard. Fridge was big enough to fit a week of food In, but sterling only 10 mins away with all amenities. Will go back next year and do the Falkcurk wheel, sterling castle and more of the Lochs. Would highly recommend it.
Stayed for a long weekend with our three boys. They loved having so much space to run around in and spent most the weekend in and out the hot tub. The cottage is beautifully done and Helen and Ross couldn't do enough to make sure we enjoyed our stay. Hadn't realised just how close it is to Stirling so it was great to have so much to do on our doorstep. We will definitely return.
Helen and Ross are absolutely wonderful hosts. Bottle of wine was waiting for us on the kitchen table when we arrived and everything was picture perfect. The property is recently renovated and items such as bed linen, towels, furniture etc. are brand new. We are a family of four and we stayed at the Coach House for six days. The neighborhood is ideal for a break from busy city life although Edinburgh is only a short drive away. Loch Lomond area is less than 30 minutes away and offers great possibilities for any outdoor activities. Golf courses are naturally everywhere. The Coach House itself excellent facilities as well incl. home theater, small gym, a snooker table (make sure you challenge Ross for a round of snooker), BBQ, and a hot tube by the river bank. The city of Stirling is a few miles away and the castle is also worth visiting. This place is a gem! Highly recommended.
