Freshfields Village is a cute, clean, convenient shopping/dining area on Seabrook Island. There are quite a few restaurants all of which are good. We recommend eating either early or later to avoid the 6 pm crowds. Our favorite restaurant was La Tela Pizzeria which also served delicious pasta. There are tons of high end shops, a pharmacy and a Harris Teeter grocery store. We were pleasantly surprised that the grocery prices were reasonable especially given they have no competition close by. We found the same to be true of the gas prices. There is a cute little pharmacy call Vincent’s which has an old fashioned soda counter as well as an informative, friendly pharmacists. Live music & a farmers market take place a few night a week. You can get a schedule at any of the businesses. Worth a trip just to look around!
