This is the first time staying in this unit and would not stay here again. The carpet was not clean, the living room furniture was so uncomfortable that we chose to sit on the dining room chairs, and because there was insufficient lighting in the living room, we couldn’t even sit on the uncomfortable furniture to read. On the other hand, the master bedroom was so bright at night (from the breezeway lighting) that we had to hang a blanket in front of the window. The washer and dryer in the unit were convenient, but the dryer took 3 hours to dry one small load (a clogged vent, perhaps). If you are prone to allergies, this is not the unit for you (the hvac filters were filthy).
On the positive side, the bathrooms were large and clean. The kitchen (while basically a “one-person-at-a-time space”) was reasonably well equipped. The king bed had a comfortable, firm mattress. The view of the lagoon was lovely and the unit was quiet.
This is not the first time we have stayed at a Sea Crest property. But this building is starting to show signs of wear and lack of maintenance. There were broken floor tiles, rusty railings, cobwebs in corners, and the fitness room needs a major upgrade. On the positive side, the proximity to the beach and the availability of two large, well maintained swimming pools (also a kiddy pool) was a plus.
