“nice place, great porch, need to update bathrooms”

My wife, daughter, mom, nephew and his wife stayed at the Davis Cottage for our family vacation. We loved the location (on the sound), the size (not too big), but mostly the enormous screened porch on the back; lots of beer consumed and laughter generated back there! There are plenty of plates, cups. glasses, etc.; so many coffee cups for such a small house; my wife wondered where all of those coffee drinkers where going to stay.
The place was fairly clean (no sign of the bugs mentioned in other reviews), bright, and will lit.
Two knocks on the place: a new blind is really needed on the big window looking out toward the sound; the other is the condition of the upstairs bathroom; very small, poorly laid out, and well, kind of creepy. A little work and a little money on this great little house and it would compare very favorably to the rest of the places on the island.
