This place has every chance of being great. However, I can’t help but think that the maintenance staff or cleaning crew just doesn’t try. Literally? It’s small but necessary things. This is a bare minimum stay over. Don’t expect the floors to be cleaned or the linens washed. The pillows feel like they’re made up from an uneven cotton bag. It’s situated in a potentially great place and could be so charming. Buthaving a Clean room and things that work matter. Our phone in the room didn’t even have a cord...

I am here currently and this is the nastiest place I have ever been. The pics will speak for itself. Beyond disgusting. The rooms are small and very dirty. I tried to get my husband to go get us a room elsewhere but he was to tired after the trip.

This place was great. My mother, sister and I were there for 3 days. Everything was wonderful. The room was great, everything was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. The grounds are very nice and we enjoyed everything that was included. We would definitely stay here again.

We had visited here 10 years ago and enjoyed the location so we thought we would try again. The last time it was out in the country but the City has moved right up to its edge now. A good location for visiting the City and the Gardens and I like the view of the water and the dock area. I liked our room but it didn't have a wardrobe and the drawers tended to fall out. This didn't bother us .We were at the road end of the hotel and the road traffic was obvious but we always use earplugs in hotels so it didn't effect us and it may be better at the other end of the hotel.

Read a few reviews and thought we would give it a try. Very disappointing. Dresser draws falling out. One cabinet missing a door. Prior guest receipt left in room. No bath towels. Leftover toothpaste on the ice tray and bag. Got bath towels from front desk which was not very friendly. One towel had mascara eye marks and maybe hair dye marks. Weak internet service. Continental breakfast was bite size muffins, yogurt, waffles, apples and cereal. Once again the front desk person was not friendly and did not respond to our question. :(
