We stopped by at 12:30 for a cocktail & to cool off from the Summer heat. Loved this place so much, came back for dinner. The steak was excellent ! The rockfish phenomenons. Presentation was spot on. Wait staff works well together & service was good ( could be excellent if timing were better) Overall, a place you should visit. Who doesn’t want a drink in an old church?!

Our group of about 40 people dined at 5 Church while we were in Charleston. We were impressed with the service, their staff is very friendly & accommodating. They even helped us Toast a couple in the group who just became engaged while we were on a Tour at Boone Hall Plantation that afternoon. It's an interesting restaurant & one I would recommend to anyone visiting Charleston.

Enjoyed happy hour here in this beautiful old church turned restaurant. They have a nice wine selection, some local beers on tap and a craft cocktail menu. The charcuterie board was very nice. It was a great way to get out of the hot summer sun and cool off. The location is right on Market St in the historic section of Charleston.

I don't know where to start? the decor, church, stained glass or the fried chicken? We went for brunch on a Saturday afternoon and were wowed from the moment we stepped inside the renovated church. Save your daily calories for this awesome brunch you won't regret it. To start we had a mimosa and spicy bloody followed by the "holy S*#t " breakfast which was enough for 4 people let alone 2. Our eyes were bugging out when the slate platter arrived at the table full of fried chicken, eggs, bacon, biscuts and warm housemade doughnuts. We don't normally eat like this, but what a treat and we were stuffed for the rest of the day. Awesome experience overall!

Just got off the plane and was going to go somewhere else that had an hour and a half wait. Needless to say, we were happy we continued on. We came across this place while walking and although it doesn’t look like anything special from the outside, this is a place not to miss! The atmosphere is unique, beautiful, and classy. The service was fantastic and the food was nothing less. Portions were appropriate, reasonably prices, and unique twists on everything. We are here for a bachelorette weekend yet the atmosphere is accommodating to a variety of occasions such as business, romantic, family, etc. I highly recommend you check out this place if you are not looking for anything too fancy or cheap, but the perfect median in between.
